revuz offers its users a software platform called revuz, accessible through the website of the same name. This platform allows customers to:

a) Centrally manage their end customers’ reviews, including selecting a carousel of the best reviews to display on landing pages.

b) Communicate with end customers to request reviews for the venue and/or product/service purchased.

c) Monitor the progress of reviews and scores, which are aggregated among various service providers.

 

In accordance with the GDPR Regulations:

 

revuz acts as a Data Controller for the data of users who own businesses (Merchants) and browsing data.

revuz acts as a Processor for the data of end customers (those who review the Merchant’s business), which is provided by Merchants. The processing of this data is governed by the “Data Processor Addendum” pursuant to Article 28 of the GDPR. The Addendum is an integral part of the contractual relationship between revuz and the Merchant, along with this notice and the terms and conditions.

revuz does not use the data provided by Merchants for its own purposes, such as marketing, market research, communication to third parties, or dissemination. Merchants ensure that end customers are informed that their data will be processed by revuz and external data processors.

 

Glossary:

“Addendum” refers to the document governing the relationship between the Merchant and revuz regarding privacy.

“Personal Data” means any information concerning an identified or identifiable natural person.
